DESIGNATIONS
CERTIFIED MEDIA GENERALIST (CMG):
The CMG Certification is the highest of the designations. This
Certification is sought by those media professionals who are
proficient in the buying of all forms of media.
The CMG exam covers all mediums, and includes the following
sections: General, Radio, TV, Cable TV, Newspaper, Outdoor,
Consumer Magazines, Trade Publications, Media Planning and The
Internet. There are over 400 questions which take
approximately 6 to 7 hours to complete.
CERTIFIED BROADCAST MEDIA
BUYER (CBMB): The
CBMB Certification is designed for those media professionals
specializing in the broadcast media.
The
CBMB exam focuses on the broadcast mediums, and includes the
following sections: General, Radio, TV, Cable TV, and The
Internet. There are over 200 questions which take
approximately 2 to 3 hours to complete.
CERTIFIED PRINT PLANNER /
BUYER (CPPB): The
CPPB Certification is designed for those media professionals
specializing in the print media.
The CPPB exam focuses on the print mediums, and includes the
following sections: General, Newspaper, Outdoor, Consumer
Magazines, Trade Publications, Media Planning and The
Internet. As with the CBMB, there are over 200 questions which
take approximately 2 to 3 hours to complete.
